Dalite engineer at the Palala Electricity Administration Office, Uttar Pradesh, was attacked inside his office cabin by the Bharatia Jatata party, with video assault. According to the engineer’s complaint, about 20 to 25 men, led by Mona in Hadour Singh, former Mandal president of the Bharatiya Jatata Party, stormed his office without any clear reason and began assaulting him.

The engineer said that other employees eventually interfered and stopped the attack. He also added that the CCTV office was not working, and the attack was recorded by another employee. Meanwhile, Singh also sought a medical treatment at the District Hospital, claiming injuries from an attack by the engineer and his colleagues.

He claimed that he and a group of 10-12 workers of the Baharatia Jatata party went to the Electricity Office to increase concerns about the power outages in nearby villages. According to him, the engineer offended them and refused to hear their grievances, which led to a physical fight.

“I am a Hararata Jatata Party. About 10-12 of us went there with a request. We asked us to wait when we tried to share our complaint. When we insisted on hearing and said we will do harm, we offended us.

The engineer denied the allegations of Singh, saying that he was not aware of this accident.

Police assistant police assistant Kripa Shankar confirmed that a case had been registered after the complaint. The police started legal procedures and deployed teams to arrest the accused.
