We all know that traffic in Bengaluru is a nightmare – but this viral Instagram video proves it in the most hilarious way. Two creators decided to test how bad it could be by turning it into a race. One of them took a flight from Bengaluru to Mumbai, while the other took a taxi from the airport to JP Nagar. the goal? See who arrives first. What seemed like a joke quickly turned into one of the most relevant challenges on the internet.
The video, titled “I still can’t believe this happened!”, has received thousands of views across Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
“Bangalore traffic sucks” – and the internet agrees
The clip begins with one creator saying, “Traffic in Bangalore is bad. I don’t think so. I’m taking a flight to Mumbai,” to which his friend replies, “And I’m going to drive to JP Nagar.” The duo then begins their race – one boarding an interstate flight, the other stuck navigating the city’s notorious congestion.
The traveler tells how he passed through airport security, took some food, and waited to board the plane. Meanwhile, his friend spent just eight minutes finding his parked car before crashing into the road – straight into a wall of traffic.
“I was stuck in Hebbal for about 45 minutes,” he says, pointing to cars that were barely moving. At one point, he joked: “I walk faster than my car.” By the time the traffic started to calm down and he was 20 minutes away from JP Nagar, the other creative had already arrived in Mumbai.
Someone on the call says: “Brother, you’ve arrived.” The other responds in disbelief: “Have you arrived? I can’t believe you’re still stuck in traffic.”
