Miss Thailand, Nuat Itsaragrisil, has filed a defamation suit against Fatima Bush. The allegation is that he was falsely accused of calling Fatima “stupid”.

In fact, a video of the pre-contest event went viral on social media, In it, he claimed that Nawat called Fatima Bush “stupid.” After that, the controversy started all over the internet and the Thai official had to face severe trolling.

Now, Miss Universe Thailand and Nuat clearly said in a joint Facebook post that they never called Fatima a ‘dumb’. The statement said, “Nawah didn’t say ‘idiot’, he said ‘damage’, and its audio recording is also available on many platforms.”

What’s the problem?
In fact, in the video that went viral, Nawat was seen asking Fatima whether or not she would post content related to Thailand. According to reports, Nawat was angry that Fatima did not participate in the photo shoot on social media. However, Fatima completely rejected these accusations.

According to her Facebook post, Nawaat said that Fatima made a false statement to the media after leaving the room and did not apologize even after knowing the truth. On the contrary, she repeated this claim in many interviews, which gave her personal advantage and eventually also became Miss Universe 2025.

That’s why Navat filed the case
Nuat Itsaragrisil formally filed the case in Thailand on November 12. Images of the multi-page complaint document were also shared in the Facebook post.

On the other hand, Fatima Bush said, after winning the title, that she was bullied, received threats on social media, and had a very difficult time after winning.

Many controversies surrounding Miss Universe’s organization
Meanwhile, the controversy surrounding the Miss Universe organization shows no signs of ending. Recently, the Bangkok South Civil Court issued an arrest warrant against Miss Universe co-owner, Ann Jackapong, in a fraud case.
At the same time, Miss Universe owner Raul Rocha also said in an interview that he is so upset by the ongoing controversy that he is considering selling the organization.
