What would you do if traffic suddenly stopped and then you realized that there was no signal, no accident, and no malfunction? The reason is simply a car parked casually in the middle of the road because its owner went out shopping. This is exactly what happened on a busy road in Patna, and the clip depicting the incident has left the internet angry and divided.
The video was recorded at SK Puri in Patna, and shows a car stopping in the middle of the road, blocking traffic from all sides. Vehicles line up behind him, honking in confusion. No instructions from the traffic police, just a parked car acting as an obstacle on a busy road.
The man recording the clip narrates the situation with apparent disbelief. He says: “Do you think the car in front of you is at the signal? No. The lady next to you is here shopping. Her driver is in the car and it is parked there.” He adds that the incident occurred directly in front of a police checkpoint, which makes the situation even more confusing.
The narrator is not shy about expressing his frustration. “I don’t know if the driver has sense or not. Or if the owner doesn’t have sense. God knows best,” he said, before ending the clip by saying: “You saw him. That’s all. You decide.”
The angry comments are pouring in
As expected, the clip sparked intense reactions online. One user wrote: “Lack of civic sense and proper education!!”. Another called for strict action, saying: “They seized her car and fined her heavily..” Some comments turned aggressive as one person shared, “Give some nicks and scratches.. it won’t happen again.”
The sarcasm has reached the comments
Others highlighted systemic issues and wrote: “Yes, because there is no fear of the law, some strict rules should be put in place like other countries.” One comment read: “Isiliye hamare Village me aurato ko Sirf Ghar chalane dya jata hai,” while another quipped: “Wo stree hai kuch bhi kar sakti hai.” Some pointed out the famous meme and wrote: “It’s her choice.”
Beyond the outrage and commentary, the video highlights a familiar urban problem: neglect of public space and lack of law enforcement.
