There is another interesting story related to the temple. It is said that King Kirtiraj of the Kachabaghat dynasty wanted to build this temple. Lord Shiva appeared in his dream and said that the temple would be built in one night, but the condition was that no human being should see its construction. The king announced to the whole village that no one should leave the house. But the curiosity of a young child won out. He was secretly looking out the window. Simply put, as soon as those forces realized they were being spotted, they stopped working there. The temple remained as it was.
