“10K fee for this?”: Girls’ fight on campus goes viral, online questions about elite university culture
A video of two girls fighting on campus began circulating on social media, sparking a wave of reactions online, with many users discussing the campus culture at private universities. The clip, which was shared on X (formerly Twitter), is allegedly from a private university in Sonipat, although the authenticity of the footage and its exact context cannot be independently verified.

The video was published by the @mujifren account, where it quickly received attention and hundreds of responses. In the caption accompanying the clip, the user wrote: “Giving £10,000 a year to educate your children in the best private colleges will ensure that they will never be bored.”
The tweet also referred to Jindal University in Sonipat, suggesting that the video was shot on or around the campus. However, there has been no official confirmation about where or when the footage was recorded.
A clip that sparks controversy online
The video shows two groups of girls fighting with each other, and is accompanied by hair pulling and insults. Surrounded by their peers, who can be seen recording the chaos, the women become embroiled in a conflict whose cause has yet to be revealed. Regardless, people around them could be heard urging them on.
Shortly after it was posted, the video began circulating widely across social media, sparking a mixture of humour, criticism and curiosity from viewers.

Some users reacted with jokes about the unusual situation that appeared in the clip. One commenter wrote: “The real myth here is that the man is calmly eating shawarma while chaos happens around him. Sometimes the best life skill is taking care of your own plate.”
Others focused on the culture of elite universities and the high costs of education. Another user wrote: “10 thousand pounds a year to educate the ‘elite’, and the entertainment is girls fighting while the boy quietly eats shawarma. The crowd is chanting ‘Maru, Maru’ as if it were a street fight. Lots of ‘upper class’ polishing – money doesn’t buy morals.”
Some also questioned the intent behind filming and sharing such content. One user wrote: “Forget about cat fights in public for a minute. Is it ok to film and share this?”
