These days, there is an interesting discussion on social media regarding Metro, where Delhi Metro and Namma Metro are being compared. A user’s post raised an issue where people are speaking out publicly. While on the one hand Delhi Metro connectivity is being praised, on the other hand questions are being raised regarding people’s behaviour. This discussion has sparked a new controversy on the Internet.

Communication versus discipline discussion

A user named Abhishek on X praised the tremendous connectivity of Delhi Metro in the post. He said that the network spread throughout the capital region and many intersections make the journey very easy for passengers. Regarding Bengaluru Metro, he said more attention has been paid to the design and beauty of the stations there, but connectivity is not as strong as Delhi. However, he expressed concern about the behavior of people on the Delhi Metro and said that commuters often spit on the tracks and do not care about public property.

The Bengaluru model was also discussed

The user also told something special about Bengaluru Metro in his post. According to him, there are two security guards deployed on each platform, and they ask passengers to stay behind the yellow line. This reduces accidents and indiscipline. He suggested that such arrangements should be made in Delhi as well, so that passenger behavior could be improved and the system could operate better.

People were divided on social media

Once this post went viral, people’s opinions on social media were divided. Some users cited Delhi Metro congestion as the reason and said it is difficult to keep an eye on everything among such a large number of passengers. Some people said that the CRPF had already been deployed at big stations in Delhi, but due to crowding, their attention could not go everywhere. Overall, the debate has now shifted to “better communication versus better discipline” and people are giving their opinions based on their own experiences.
