Sattu prata recipe
Sattu prata recipe: Morning breakfast is not only to fill the stomach, but it also provides the energy needed for the whole day. These days people talk about eating healthy, but when it comes to preparing something after waking up early in the morning, they stop at the same old things like poha, bread or tea biscuits. In such a situation, if you want something that tastes delicious and also gives strength to the body, Sattu Paratha is the perfect choice. Sattu, made from roasted chickpeas, keeps the stomach full for a long time and cools the body. The special thing is that this breakfast is not only delicious but also rich in high protein, which helps you stay active throughout the day.
If you care about fitness or want to follow a healthy lifestyle, this recipe is perfect for you. Let us know the easy and correct way to prepare it.
Ingredients needed to make sattu paratha
– 1 cup sattu
– Wheat flour – 2 cups
– Finely chopped onion – 1
– Green pepper – 1
– Ginger – Garlic – 1 teaspoon
– Green coriander – 1 bunch
– Celery – half a teaspoon
-Kalonji – half a teaspoon
– Mustard oil – 2 teaspoons
– Pickle masala – 2 teaspoons
-Salt to taste
– Lemon juice – 2 teaspoons
– Oil or ghee – as desired
Prepare a spicy filling like this
First, take the sattu in a bowl. Add chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, garlic and green coriander. Now add the celery and nigella seeds and crush them a little with your hands until their flavor is well developed. Now add one spoon of mango pickle masala. This enhances the real taste of these parathas. Next add two tablespoons of mustard oil which gives it a hot and spicy taste. Add salt and a little lemon juice and mix well. If the mixture seems dry, sprinkle a little water, so that it becomes easily fillable.
How to roll and bake paratha
Now make a ball of wheat flour and roll it lightly. We stuff the sattu filling in the middle, closing it on all sides and giving it a circular shape.
We wrap it slowly so that the filling does not come out. Now put it in a hot pan and fry it until it turns golden on both sides. If you want, you can put ghee or oil in it. When light brown spots start appearing on the paratha and puff up, you know your sattu paratha is ready.
Why are these parathas so beneficial?
Satō has long been considered a superfood. It contains a high percentage of protein and fiber, which keeps the stomach full for a long time. It improves digestion and helps keep the body cool from the inside, especially in the summer. Apart from that, iron and magnesium are also good in it, which gives strength to the body. If you want to control your weight or want to stay active throughout the day, this breakfast is a great option for you.
