An easy recipe to prepare Parwal Chana Dal Sabji
material:
– 250 grams of parwal
-½ cup chana dal
– 1 onion (finely chopped)
– 1 tomato (chopped)
– 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
-1-2 green hot peppers
-½ teaspoon of turmeric powder
-½ teaspoon red pepper powder
– 1 teaspoon coriander powder
-½ teaspoon cumin
-Salt to taste
-2 tablespoons oil
– Green coriander (for garnish)

How to make
1. First, soak the chana dal in water for 2-3 hours. Next, boil it a little, keep in mind that the dal should not dissolve completely, there should be a little of it.

2. Now wash the parwal and cut it lengthwise. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the parwal until it turns light golden. After that, take them aside.

3. Add more oil in the same pan and add the cumin seeds and pepper. Now add the onion to it and fry it until it turns light brown. Then add the ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and stir for a few seconds.

4. Now add the tomatoes and cook until they are soft. When the masala starts releasing oil, add turmeric, red chilli and coriander powder to it.

5. Next add the boiled chana dal and fried parwal. Add a little water, then cover the pot and leave it on medium heat for 8-10 minutes.

6. Finally add the garam masala and green coriander on top. Your delicious Parwal Chana Dal Sabzi is ready. Serve it with roti, paratha or rice.

Some useful tips
Do not overcook the chana dal, otherwise you will lose the joy of the vegetables. If you want a light and rich flavour, you can add some ghee at the end.
