‘Indian mothers can pet anyone’: Woman rubs her pet crow’s belly while he enjoys her company | video

Have you ever wondered if it is possible to keep a crow as a pet? Dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, parrots, pigeons, fish and even snakes have long been popular choices among pet lovers. But a video circulating on social media challenges conventional ideas about pet ownership after it showed a woman sharing a surprising emotional bond with a crow.

The clip, which was posted on X, showed the woman sitting outside with the bird resting on her lap. Far from crows appearing to be wary and scary creatures, the bird appeared completely comfortable in the woman’s company and allowed itself to be petted and hugged without causing any harm to anyone.

The crow enjoys all the attention

She was seen gently tickling the crow’s belly while making playful noises, just like someone would while entertaining a baby. Instead of trying to fly away or react aggressively, the crow remained quietly in her embrace and seemed to enjoy all the attention it was getting. At one point, he gently grabbed the woman’s fingers with his claws. He did not harm the woman in any way, highlighting the trust and bond between them.

“Only Indian mothers can do these things.”

The video received great attention on the platform, as people expressed their surprise after seeing a crow acting like a pet. Some have also pointed out that crows are among the most intelligent organisms on the planet.

One user said: “In India, every animal/bird can be domesticated. This is proven.”

“Who knew you could tickle a crow,” said another person, expressing his amazement.

One individual said: “Crows cannot be caged, they choose someone if they wish. They are the smartest birds around, along with magpies which only differ in color pattern but belong to the same family of crows and crows.”

“You should never touch or pat birds on their bellies, under their wings and to some extent under their beaks,” one person warned after watching the woman caress a crow in its belly area.

Meanwhile, one person joked: “Indian mothers can pet anyone.”

“Only an Indian mother can do these things,” another user replied.

“A mother can be anyone’s mother…and by anyone I mean literally anyone,” another person jokingly commented.
