This viral video was shared by Akash Gupta, founder and CEO of Gurugram-based electric mobility company Zip Electric, on his social media account. In the video, he jokingly wrote that the founder was poaching his employee. The video shows Akash Gupta talking to a security guard in his office. During the conversation, the guard told that he joined the job about two months ago and currently gets a salary of about Rs 18,000 every month. The guard also said in the conversation that he is thinking of leaving this job and becoming a delivery partner. He said that if he works as a 12-hour delivery man, he can earn Rs 1,500 to Rs 1,600 a day, while in his current job he earns around Rs 600 a day.
The CEO suggested a job change
After listening to the guard, Akash Gupta said that the company’s delivery associates earn around Rs 40-50 lakh per month, though he also told that this work is more arduous than that of a security guard. Despite this, he encouraged guards to do the work of their choice, and said they were both part of the company’s ecosystem. While sharing the video, Akash Gupta jokingly wrote that he had robbed an employee of his own company.
