Every year, people welcomes Ganisha on Chatori from the month of Bahdabada, fixing idols in homes, and filling the entire atmosphere with spiritual energy with worship. This year, Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated on August 27. In such a case, many worshipers also fast so that they can get the grace of Lord Ganesha. But the question is, do we take care of our body during fasting? Are we sure that besides worship, our health is still balanced? According to doctors, hunger can not only be treated by adopting some easy precautions during fasting, but energy can also be filled throughout the day.

The five easy and effective suggestions that Dr. Rakish Bandit told Hindustan Times, which can make fast and comfortable, tell us what they are.

1. Use water and coconut properly

The most important thing in fasting is that there is no shortage of water in the body. Drink a little water throughout the day and again. If the weather is hot or more sweat, coconut water may help a lot. It keeps the body fresh and also gives the necessary minerals, which does not cause problems such as fatigue and headache.

2. Eat bananas, mugs and dry fruits

The hungry stomach can bring weakness for a long time. So, take the food that is digested quickly but gives a lot of energy. Like bananas, sweet potatoes, Sagu Gijdi or good. These foods give the body the strength of work for a long time. A small amount of dry fruits between them is also useful.

3. Eat good fats, that is, ghee and seeds
Many people are left with only fruits in fasting, but if you include things like ghee, flaxseed, or chia in small quantities, they give the body energy for a long time. Things like a tablespoon of ghee or a handful of nuts, almonds and peanuts can be very useful for you.

4. Give yourself relaxing if the body is tired

If you fast, it is important to listen to your body’s voice. Do not work hard. If you feel tired, sit for a while, close your eyes and take a deep breath. Get 7-8 hours of sleep per day until the body is completely updated.

5. Walking in light or slow yoga is useful
The body can get tired quickly by doing severe exercises during fasting. Instead, you should build some moderate yogasanas or breathing -focused techniques. This maintains the calm of the mind and the blood circulation in the body as well.
