British women criticize the M&S employees at Heathrow Airport to speak with Indian. (Q)
A British woman was criticized for social media for criticizing Marx and Spencer employees at Heathrow Airport in London to speak the Indian language. Internet users have criticized its screaming on social media as discriminatory and unnecessary.
In a virus now, the woman, who was identified as Lucy White- who describes herself as a public policy specialist- said that she just landed at Heathro 3 Airport Station and stopped at the M&S port where she heard three employees speaking in a different language.
White asked the employees about the language in which they were speaking, and they were told that they were speaking in Indian – the most widely speaking language in India.
White also claimed that she recorded her speech and has plans to report Marx & Spencer.
I asked them, “What language is you talking about? “The Indian” answered.
Internet users reaction
However, the White post did not sit well with social media users. While many of them tried to understand their point of view, most of them wondered about the rules that the employees broke and why she found offensive.
“I don’t see the problem with this. If I go to France with my wife, I will talk to her English – it’s our native language. What do I miss here?” He asked one user.
Another asked about her anger, saying: “What is arrogance.
Many have argued that speaking his mother tongue among colleagues should not be a problem, “as long as they do not address you in Indian, why are employees allowed to speak with each other in their language while doing routine work. This is not racist – this is a proper instinct.”
“I have worked with three Polish colleagues for more than 20 years. They are talking to each other in the Polish language and in the ideal English language. I don’t see why this should be a problem for anyone,” another user commented.
