Move over, alarm clocks, Indian moms have officially taken creativity to a whole new level. A video clip circulated on social media made everyone say “Mother of the Year.” Honestly, we couldn’t agree more. the reason? She hired a band to wake up her sleeping children.

The clip begins innocently enough. Two men, one carrying a doll and the other a trumpet, enter the house for some purpose. But instead of heading to a wedding or event, they’re on a very special mission to wake up two kids who refuse to get out of bed in the morning!

Apparently, the girls were asleep late in the morning, so their mother was determined to wake them up, and came up with a hilariously dramatic plan. She literally invited the band home. As soon as the musicians enter the room, they begin playing the energetic devotional tune Shri Ram Janki Peeth Hai. The two half-asleep children, startled, first peek out from under their blankets and then quickly hide again, as if that might save them from the musical wake-up call. Although the video is fun to watch, it’s important to note that News18 has not been able to independently verify these claims.

After a few seconds, one of them finally resigned and emerged again. She smiles and asks in disbelief: “Kya ho raha hai ye?”

The Internet is in divisions

The Internet, of course, is in divisions. The video was re-shared on social media platforms, where people dubbed the woman “Mother of the Year.” The comments are pure gold, as one of them wrote: “With the flames of imagination of the grandfather.” Another said: “Mama dangerous hai.”

“The mummy shook”

Someone else summed it up perfectly by saying: “Modern problems require modern solutions.” One nostalgic user added: “Ham pe toh cold water daala jata tha Delhi kithand mein!” Another expressed his pain, saying: “Meri ma toh pas pankha band kar dete thi.” And the best one? “The mummy shook, and the Bachi squad was shocked.”

The clip quickly became everyone’s favourite, thanks to its hilarious mix of love, drama and all-round entertainment. Whether you call it tough love or a comedy sketch, the video proves that this mom knows how to get results.
