The popular AI Impact Summit hosted in New Delhi from February 16-20 witnessed complaints of inconvenience and various issues from visitors. In the last issue, a visitor brought to everyone’s attention a strange video showing how cleaners and dining hall staff were using the same knife in their work.
In a video shared on Friday, February 20, this Indian man claimed that the sweeper was cutting his broom with a knife which the person later abandoned at the dining table. The visitor suspected that this knife was deployed by food department employees to serve customers.

“Another great moment at the AI Impact Summit in India,” quipped an Indian visitor. “I went to get a sandwich. I saw the sweeper cutting the broom with a knife and putting the same knife back on the dining table. Then the man used it to cut the sandwich.”

The visitor claimed that the accident occurred when he went to buy a sandwich from one of the restaurants designated for that purpose. The man saw a sweeper from a distance and recorded him using a knife on top of his broom. Once that was done, the worker walked over to the dining table and returned the knife to the dining hall staff. This left the visitor in shock, as he suspected that the knife was later used to cut vegetables, bread used in the sandwich and other food items.
“Make money without cleaning”
As the video clip showing the janitor and dining hall staff using the same knife gained popularity, people sympathized with the visitor at the height of the AI influence and indirectly criticized the authorities with sarcastic remarks.
As the sweeper clipped the broom under a sign titled “Taste of India,” one user pointed and said: “Really tastes of India!!”
Another person commented: “We don’t live in India. We are alive.”
“This is a lack of ethics on an individual level,” one individual said of the sweepers and dining hall staff.
“This implementation is normal in India. Earning money without cleanliness,” one user expressed his disappointment.
In a previous post, the AI Impact Summit visitor claimed that he had to walk a long distance of about 5 km to get a taxi after the gates and corridors were closed due to the arrival of some VIPs.
