A disturbing video has surfaced online from Delhi, where a man is seen physically assaulting a woman in a park. It is alleged that both of them were in a relationship and an argument occurred between them that developed into a physical assault by the man. The episode was recorded by another man who was inside the park at the time. According to him, he went there for a walk and was sitting on a nearby bench when he noticed the quarrel taking place.
A man slaps a woman several times in a Delhi park
In the recording, the person filming can be heard explaining the situation. “I had come to the park for a walk and was sitting behind them on the second bench. Look, I was looking at both of them. This boy had been hitting his girlfriend for some time. This girl had already been spanked 30-40 times,” he says.
The photos show the couple having a heated argument. Moments later, the man was seen slapping the woman. The person on the record also adds: “Now, look, he’s in a toxic relationship, he loves her too much, and he’s doing things.

Anger at public assault
The incident sparked strong reactions, as many denounced the man’s behavior towards his girlfriend.
One user commented: “The most shocking part? How many people walk by. Seeing a woman get slapped 30-40 times and only one person recording is a heartbreaking reflection of our society. This is not a ‘private matter’ between a couple; it’s violent assault. We have to stop normalizing ‘toxic’ relationships when they are clearly criminal behaviour.”
Another said: “Real men don’t raise their hands on women. If you can’t handle your feelings, you don’t deserve a relationship. Violence is not love, it’s weakness. True masculinity is protecting her in public and respecting her in private.”
“The fact that the girl is sitting there, getting slapped by him, makes me so angry. Damn, are you glued to the seat. Respect yourself and leave. People who love you don’t hit you. Abusers always escalate, and this guy is abusing him,” another person wrote sharply.

A user tagged the official account of Delhi Police and said, “For your action against violence in public places. It is very offensive to her.”

So far, there has been no official update from Delhi Police on whether any action has been taken against the man.
