According to the sciences, the eggs came before the chicken. But when it comes to the first “chicken egg”, evolutionary evidence tells a more complex story.

For hundreds of years, people discussed the classic question: Did the chicken came first or eggs? It is a difficult puzzle because the chicken comes from an egg, but the eggs are placed by chicken. This circular problem has no clear starting point, which makes it one of the greatest puzzles.
Although it may seem impossible to answer, Science.org recently explained how evolutionary biology provides important evidence. By studying how eggs and chicken evolved over millions of years, we can get a clearer picture of what happened.
Eggs
Eggs are found throughout the animal world, not just a bird. In simple phrases, the egg is a preventive condition as the fetus grows safely so that it can stay on its own.
This type of eggs that we usually think (the bird egg) came with the development of heavenly several million years ago. Anio are animals that lay eggs with special membranes inside them that allow the fetus alive on Earth without the need for water.
Before the presence of an amalosy eggs, most animals had to lay eggs in the water to prevent them from drying. Some sources indicate that the first real features appeared closer to 312 million years.
Animals like reptiles, birds and mammals today all came from those first. Therefore, the eggs were present for a long time longer than the chicken.
First chicken
Now, let’s talk about the first chicken. The first chicken not only appeared from nothingness. Science.org explains that it was the result of the genetic changes that occur in the fetus inside an egg placed by two birds that were “almost chicken” called the uterus often called the uterus.
These two Proto players increase their DNA, but during this process, some mutations occurred in the first cell. These mutations are passed with the development of the fetus. The result was the first real chicken.
But again, who are these “chicken”.
The report stated that modern chicken ancestor is Red JungleFowl, which lives in parts of South and Southeast Asia, including India, China and Indonesia. Archaeological evidence indicates that humans have begun to translate Red JungleFowl about 10,000 years ago.
But genetic studies indicate that chicken may be divided from JungleFowl even about 58,000 years ago. There is also evidence that chicken may have mixed genes with another type called The Gray JungleFowl, which can explain some features such as yellow on the chicken legs.
The eggs came before the chicken
Therefore, the timeline narrowed: the eggs appeared about 340 million years ago, while the chicken later developed about 58,000 years ago. This shows that the eggs came before the chicken.
But what about the first chicken egg? Some scientists have argued that chicken may come first due to a special protein that participates in making eggshells. Chicken eggs are mostly made of calcium carbonate that chicken gets from their food. The eggshell form when calcium is deposited in the form of calcium carbonate crystals.
To do this, the chicken produces a protein called Ovocleidin-17 (OC-17), which speeds the egg laying process. This protein is found inside the chicken only, which means that the chicken should be first to make the chicken egg shell.
However, the first real chicken came from an egg placed by a bird that was almost a chicken. Therefore, the egg was with an important boom in front of the chicken itself. This means that the egg that hatched the first chicken was not a chicken egg (very confusing, know).
