Ingredients required for chana dal abi
– Chana dal – 1 cup
– Green pepper – 1 to 2
– Ginger – 1 small piece
– Onion – 1 finely chopped
– Carrot – 1 grated
– Pepper – 1 finely chopped
– Curry leaves – 6 to 7 leaves, finely chopped
– Coriander leaves – 2 teaspoons
– Salt – to taste
– Oil – as desired
Easy way to make chana dal abi
1. To prepare chana dal abi, wash the chana dal well first. Then soak it in water for 3-4 hours. When the lentils swell, remove the excess water.
2. Now put the soaked dal in the blender bowl. Also add green chillies and ginger to it. Grind it coarsely without adding much water. Keep in mind that the paste should not be too thin, if it is a little thick, the consistency of the application will be better.
3. Now take this mixture out into a large bowl. Add finely chopped onions, grated carrots, chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt and mix well. If you like, you can also add a little cumin to enhance the taste.
4. Now place the apple frying pan on the gas and pour a little oil into each groove and heat it. When the pan is hot, fill the mixture into each groove of the spoon. We put the gas on medium heat and cover the pan.
5. After about 3-4 minutes, remove the lid and turn the lid over. Lightly oil the other side and cook until golden. When both sides are crispy and golden, take them out.
