In a unique development on the arrangements for living after the phase, some American couples continue to share a house despite the legally separation, driven by economic instead of mutual affection.

The high interest rates on real estate loans made the sale and purchase of new homes a financial likelihood, which led to such unconventional settings.

Ryan Himbury and Morgan Dixon, a couple of Cape Cannavir, Florida, embody this trend. Although they were officially divorced in April, they remain under the same ceiling. The couple re -fined their property with a low interest rate of 2 % before their division. The sale of the house and the purchase of new homes separately would subject them to the current high interest rates, which leads to significant financial losses. Thus, they chose to stay in their joint home.

The husband and wife share the same house

Ryan lives in the beach’s bang inside the property, while Morgan resides in the Airstream trailer parked in the courtyard, both a few meters away.

“The money comes well, but the border position is still a challenge,” says Ryan. The situation describes that he feels that they are still married because Morgan is constantly present, although he shows that their relationship no longer involves marital rapprochement or other aspects of marriage.

This phenomenon is not isolated in Florida. In South Carolina, Megan Mayer shares a house with her current husband, Michael Flores and her ex -husband, Tyler. This arrangement allows, mainly to maintain financial stability and meet the needs of their children, the three -year -old Megan’s daughter (from her marriage with Tyler) and her 18 -month -old son (from her marriage with Michael) to live with both parents.

“The lifestyle provides this comfort, allowing parents from my daughter who live together while providing financial benefits as well,” says Megan.
