Mumbai was transformed into a romantic and festive scene on Thursday when a man proposed to his girlfriend amidst an Enrique Iglesias concert, impressing thousands of fans at the MMRDA Grounds in Bandra Kurla Complex.

The Spanish pop star, on his return to Mumbai after 13 years, has transformed the venue into a stunning display of music and love.
Iglesias, a global Grammy Award winner, performed some of his biggest hits including “Hero,” “Bailamos,” “Subeme La Radio,” “Chasing The Sun,” and “Bailando” in a 90-minute set that had more than 25,000 fans singing and dancing along.
Appearing on stage at around 8.20pm wearing his signature hat and all-black attire, Enrique greeted his audience with a warm ‘Namaste, Mumbai’ before taking them on a nostalgic journey through his career. “Thank you… Thank you very much. I came here for the first time in 2004. It’s great to be back again,” he told the audience who had gathered from all over India for the show.
Fans and celebrities alike enjoyed the performance. A couple in their early fifties, residing in Pune, said they attended the party to relive their youth, adding that their daughter had booked the tickets as a Diwali gift. Bollywood celebs like Vidya Balan, Rakul Preet Singh and her husband Jackie Bhagnani, Malaika Arora, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, Mayang Chang, Rahul Vaidya and others were also seen enjoying the party.
The event concluded with a stunning fireworks display and Iglesias’ hit song “Baby I Like It.” The two-day series, promoted by EVA Live and supported by Mastercard, with District By Zomato as the exclusive ticketing partner, left fans with lasting memories of music, love and an unforgettable show.
