Nowadays, a smartphone is no longer just a gadget, but a status symbol. Especially when it comes to a premium phone like the iPhone 17 Pro Max, everyone dreams of having it. But when this expensive phone is seen in the hands of a Golgappa seller instead of a big businessman or a celebrity, the word automatically goes viral. These days, a similar video is going viral on social media, showing a person selling golgappa on the streets of Patna using an iPhone worth millions of dollars.

A video of a Golgappa seller from Patna has gone viral

This video from Batna state has gone viral on social media. In the video, the Golgappa vendor is seen serving customers at his stall, but people’s attention is more on his phone than Golgappa’s phone. He is allegedly using the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is said to be priced around Rs 1,49,900.

A food vlogger has been revealed

This video was shared by food vlogger ‘Bihari Adda Wala’ on Instagram. When the vlogger reached the ‘Shivji Banarasi Golgappa’ stall located near Patna Junction, he captured this unique scene on camera. In the video, he not only shows the phone up close, but also checks out its interface, which looks similar to the iPhone.

Used for digital payment

In the video, the Golgappa seller himself tells that he uses this phone to receive digital payments. Nowadays, the trend of online payment has increased rapidly even among small businessmen, which is why even expensive smartphones are becoming a part of their business.

EMI and the shows changed the picture

Premium smartphones are no longer just for the rich. EMI, exchange offers and financing schemes have made it accessible to the general public. People can buy expensive phones in easy installments of up to two years. However, many experts believe this may also increase financial stress for some people.

The used market has also become a big reason

Another big reason why expensive phones reach the general public is the second-hand market. Used smartphones are now easily available and their price is much lower than new ones. In such a situation, even small businessmen are able to use premium devices without spending much.

At the same time, some people associate it with ostentation and financial risks. People are also giving funny reactions in the comments section… One user wrote…I’m quitting my job and selling golgappas. Another user wrote… I bought an iPhone after selling golgappas, and I can’t muster the courage even after doing white collar work here.
