With Christmas just around the corner, many people across the country are starting to feel in the festive mood. In several places, groups of young people can be seen moving from house to house, singing hymns and spreading joy. These visits usually take place in Christian homes, where music, smiles and laughter fill the air.
To make things even more fun, some members of these groups dress up as Santa Claus. Their songs, dances and fun acts often turn simple evenings into special moments. Now, a funny video from Kerala showing one such moment has surfaced online and is tugging at hearts once again.
A quiet evening turns into a surprise show
The video begins with an elderly man sitting quietly on the balcony of his house. In front of him, a group of young boys can be seen singing and dancing. But instead of Christmas carols, they play the famous Tamil song ‘Mukkala Mukkabala’ from the movie Kadhalan. The boys seem to be teasing him lightly, dancing and trying to pull him into the moment.
As the music continues, a man dressed as Santa enters the frame and begins dancing alongside the old man. At first, the old man just watched, smiling and enjoying the fun happening right in front of his house.
When music takes over
Soon the energy becomes too strong to resist. The old man stands up, raises one hand in the air, and begins to dance with all excitement. His movements are simple but full of joy, showing how much fun he has. People around him cheer loudly, clap their hands, and encourage him to keep going.
The atmosphere becomes lively, with laughter and applause filling the aid. The song continues to play, and the old man continues to dance without stopping.
His wife tries to stop him, but the fun continues
In the middle of the dance, the man’s wife came out of the house. She gently patted his shoulder, trying to calm him down and pull him away. But he refuses to stop and continues dancing, clearly lost in the moment.
The clip ends with everyone cheering for the old man as he finishes his dance. The video’s title says, “Somewhere in Kerala,” while the caption says, “UNC is having the time of its life.”
