Annual school events are always filled with excitement, especially when young children appear on stage in bright and colorful outfits. During one of these events, something unexpected happened and quickly caught everyone’s attention. As the children were getting ready to start the dance steps, suddenly a smoke effect started on the stage and the children were not prepared for this surprise at all. For a few seconds, they looked confused and frightened.

Their innocent reactions made the moment funny but also made a lot of people emotional. The audience tried to calm the girls down. For the audience, it was part of the show. For the kids, it was a bit strange and scary.

How the sudden smoke effect frightened the children

The clip shows two young girls from Success Wings Preschool in Solapur preparing for their performance during the school’s annual assembly celebration. Both the girls looked adorable wearing traditional Maharashtrian outfits. They were all set to dance to the song Mai Kolhapur Se Aayi Hoon from the 1994 film Anjaam, which was originally performed by actress Madhuri Dixit.

Everything was ready, but as soon as they got on stage, a smoke effect appeared, shocking the girls. One of them left the stage in fear, while the other started crying loudly. The audience, especially parents who were ready with their phones to record the show, rushed to them in concern and comforted their daughters.

The video posted on X came with the caption, “Little girls dancing interrupted. After stage, smoke scares them. Average performance.”

In response to the post, one user wrote: “They should have done this earlier so the kids could get used to it.”

Another said: “Her steps were on point.”

“The wings failed to spread successfully, but they are very cute,” one comment read.

Another added: “What’s the need for smoke? These babies are so young, they would have been completely covered in it. Stupid behavior scared the hell out of them.”

The importance of preparing children for theatrical performances

When children go to the scene of an accident, it is very important to explain everything to them in advance. If they are not prepared for surprises such as smoke effects or sudden lights, they may quickly become frightened. Moments like this stay in their memories for a long time, sometimes making them nervous about performing again. Proper guidance and preparation help children feel confident, enjoy their performance, and deal with unexpected matters calmly.
