Happy Halloween everyone. (Image source: Instagram)
Every year on October 31, balconies across the United States are transformed into horror movie-themed scenes. Plastic skeletons, fake cobwebs, glowing pumpkins – they’re all part of the magic of Halloween. But one home in Brampton took things to a whole new level this year. Forget your classic ghosts and witches. This family decided to go full-on Bollywood horror with a desi film – and the internet can’t get enough of it.
A viral Instagram clip shared on Instagram shows a Brampton home decorated with what could be the funniest Halloween decorations of 2025. The clip begins with a skeleton wearing a bright red sari, standing tall on a balcony. Directly below it, there is a large white sign that says, in bold red, “STREE Kal… AANA.”
This phrase, in reference to the 2018 horror-comedy film Stree, instantly connects with every desi viewer. Add to that some red handprints splattered on the paper – and the setting looks both eerie and laughably familiar.

Red sarees are not just a random choice. Fans were quick to point out how similar it was to the one worn by Shraddha Kapoor’s mysterious character in Stree. Even the skeleton’s pose – arms slightly out, head tilted – adds the perfect “possessed Bollywood ghost” energy.
Next to the sign is another smaller skeleton, wrapped in black, circling the scene like a little friend from Desi’s haunted lane. The attention to detail is uncanny – enough to make anyone passing by stop, laugh and take a photo.
The clip, titled “Like Halloween in Brampton,” has received thousands of views and sparked hundreds of comments. Users flooded the post with laughing emojis and jokes about “creating Halloween in Brampton differently.”
“Only comedy can turn horror into comedy,” one user wrote, while another joked: “Hey see, trick-or-treat Anna.” “Only in Brampton will you find Stree doing creative trick-or-treating!” Read comment. “This house won Halloween.” Forget pumpkins, we are making saree ghosts now,” read another comment.
Be it the ‘Stree Kal Aana’ sign or the skeleton in a sari, the message is clear: the creativity of lovers never misses a single season.
