A Reddit user warned of the alleged “dating fraud” in Bangaluru, where restaurants and bars rent university girls and work with them in a collusion to attract uncomfortable customers who were conducted to pay a huge bill that has much exceeded the actual value of the elements they requested.
Redditor claimed that a tape in the Kadubeesanhalli area in Metropolis is renting university students to create profiles about dating applications and lure their matches in this tape, “only to stick to it with bills valued at thousands of rupees.”
“There is a single bar in BLR called” BLR Chakna Bar “in Kadubeesanahali. These people rent university students to create profiles on dating applications and lure their matches in this tape, just to stick to Balo bills of thousands of rupees.”
The social media user also detailed how one of his friends was deceiving thousands of rupees in this fraud.
The user said that his friend went on a date with a girl to the bar, as the girl asked for drinks worth at least 3000 rupees. The Redditor said that these restaurants have separate lists of foods and drinks, which are very expensive, especially on the willingness of the victims who came there.
“It is clear that the drinks were requested fake, and one of my friends was a deception in this way. The girl asked for a value of 3 kg 4 times, and it was not even alcohol. These people have a separate menu for food and drinks that are much expensive, specially prepared for the victims who came in history there. Please stay alert!” He added.
