Passengers on a moving train were shocked when they witnessed a brutal attack by a store manager on one of his employees over the price of a bottle of water. The short dispute led to a violent and disturbing scene inside the moving train.

The confrontation started when a passenger noticed that he was being charged Rs 20 for a bottle listed at Rs 15. He was heard saying in the video: “Yaha par bhi overcharging for chal rahi hai, inke jo ladke hai wo maan nahi hai. This whole thing was planned by the manager only).”

He raised the issue with the staff and filed a complaint, prompting the warehouse manager and his team to intervene. What followed was an aggressive and shocking display of violence.

Dispute over the price of a bottle of water

The man asks the store manager: “Pani ki bottle kitne ki bikwa rahe ho? (How much does a water bottle sell for?).” The manager answers and tells him 15 rupees.

The passenger also says: “Rs 20 ki mujo di gaya aur wo kehra hai Rs 20 ki netchi lunga (I gave it for Rs 20 and the boy said he will not take anything less than Rs 20).”

The conversation quickly escalated and the manager was seen physically attacking the employee.

A brutal assault caught on camera

The video shows the manager kicking, slapping, and dragging the employee by his hair inside the train. Despite the passengers’ attempts to intervene, the attack continues. At one point, he was heard saying: “The company has Rs 25,000 jurmana bharna badega. Rs 5 ki chakhar mein Rs 25,000 bharna padta hai (You will have to pay Rs 25,000 as fine to the company. All this is more than Rs 5).”

Voices against violence

The video sparked strong reactions. Most viewers agreed that regardless of the employee’s fault, physical assault is completely unacceptable

“Even if an employee makes a mistake, his manager/higher-up has no authority to physically deal with him,” one user commented.

Another said: No one has the right to raise his hand.

Another person said: “A solution can be found even without death. Why resort to violence?”

“What is the point of physically assaulting someone? The correct action should be to fire the offending employee and transfer him to the next station!” added one person.

One viewer noted: “This behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Overcharging is wrong, but assaulting someone because of it is worse. Punishment, suspension, fine – yes. But violence is not ‘management’. This is exactly how power is abused.”

One user pointed out that the video may not be recent, but it is still unclear when and on which train route this accident occurred.
