The MP also revealed that his bag contained “important and valuable documents,” which makes the incident “more painful.” He expressed his strong dissatisfaction and stated that such “negligence and mismanagement of luggage” was unacceptable. He further noted that if this happened to a Member of Parliament, “one can only imagine the plight of ordinary passengers.”
Tagging IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers, Khandelwal sought answers, writing: “I need an immediate explanation.” He also referred to Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, saying that the incident reflects the airline’s “deeply worrying operational standards” and that “immediate intervention is needed”.

What about the common man?
Another person joined in, adding: “It is shocking to see the utter incompetence of IndiGo! If an MP like Shri Praveen Khandelwal has to go through ‘mental agony’ due to lost luggage, what hope is there for the common man?” The post also called for a “high-level investigation into these failed operational standards.”
