While getting off the Thane-CSMT local train, an elderly passenger suddenly lost his balance and started sliding between the platform and the train. Meanwhile, the ticket checker (TC) present at the station ran out without wasting a moment and saved the life of the elderly passenger. This entire incident was captured by the CCTV camera installed at the station, the video of which is now going viral on social media.
TC became an angel, saving the life of an old man who fell off the train
According to eyewitnesses, the elderly passengers were trying to get off the local train as soon as it stopped. Due to his age and crowding, his foot slipped and he started falling near the train. Conditions were so severe that a delay of even a few seconds could have been fatal. At the same time, the TC nearby ran quickly, sensing the situation. It is clearly seen in the surveillance camera footage that TC runs with full force towards the elderly passenger and drags him to the safe platform. Even before the people present could understand anything, a major accident had been averted. The elderly passenger was immediately dealt with and first aid was provided to him.
