According to information, the procession came from the Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. At the time of marriage, around 10:30 pm, during the Varmala ceremony, Dhinbandhu, who lives in the neighbourhood, came there and shot the bride Aarti in the stomach. The bullet hit near the bride’s navel and the bride lost consciousness there. Before people could understand anything, the madman ran away. According to the allegations, Dhinbandu is said to be the bride’s lover.
