The huge wild elephant created a chaos near the Toll Square on the Dehradun-Aaridwar Highway today, attacking vehicles waiting for traffic through the crowded extension.
A virus video on social media showed that the elephant causes chaos on the road while trying to pass through the road to reach the other side.
The elephant was seen using its stem to severely damage a vehicle waiting in the Toll lane, but the driver managed to escape without being stolen quickly.
According to officials, the elephants were monitored near the Toll Plaza almost every day, which is a threat to safety.
The accident sparked anger and fear among the local population, with many calls for urgent action.
Earlier, on a crowded road in the Sundargarh area of Odisha, the wild elephant was seen stopping several trucks in search of food. Drivers and close tourists should be afraid at first to see such a large animal very close.
But the elephant went quietly towards one of the trucks, took a bag from the driver’s seat, inhaled it with its stem and tried to find something to eat.
According to NDTV reports, the accident occurred on the Sajara Mandejuda road in the Kowida Bankhand area in the Sundargarh area. The elephant is believed to have separated from his group and went towards the road, as many trucks were traveling, and aluminum transport.
When drivers monitored the mid -road elephant, they stopped their cars and waited. The elephant, which does not show any signs of aggression, appears to them, apparently in search of food.
