These days a strange case is doing the rounds on social media, where a young man in Raipur has become so annoyed by mosquitoes that he has found a strange but effective solution to his problem. This young man’s name is Dulal Patel. He lives in Vamanrao Lakhe neighborhood in Raipur. There are a lot of mosquitoes in his area. Mosquitoes bit him several times, making him fearful of contracting diseases such as dengue fever or malaria. Out of fear, Dulal Patel went to the doctor. The doctor said that the mosquitoes that bit should be examined. Daulall took this very seriously. He thought that since mosquitoes can spread disease, why not capture these mosquitoes and present them to the authorities.
A young man arrives at the municipal office after killing mosquitoes
Dulal Patel then killed the mosquitoes and sealed them in a plastic bag. Then he went directly to the Raipur Municipal Corporation office. He was also accompanied by social activist Vijay Sona and Leader of the Opposition in Municipal Council Akash Tiwari. All three of them handed over the plastic bag to the health officer of the municipal corporation. Municipal officials immediately spoke to doctors and tested the mosquitoes. After investigation, it turned out that these mosquitoes were not the ones spreading dengue fever, but rather were ordinary mosquitoes. This certainly provided some relief, but the problem did not go away.
Opposition leaders also expressed concern about dengue fever
Opposition leader Akash Tiwari said that this incident is very serious. On paper, he said, the city is described as “clean Raipur, beautiful Raipur”, but in reality people are so bothered by mosquitoes that they have to catch mosquitoes and bring them to the office. He said that this is a major failure of the municipal corporation. Local residents say that the number of mosquitoes has increased in their area. People live in fear of dengue and malaria all the time. He told people that a few years ago a young man died due to a mosquito bite in the same area.
