The relationship between Lord Ram and Hanuman is one of the most famous in Hindu mythology, where one is remembered, and the other is never left behind. On Sunday, Ayodhya witnessed a moment that seemed to echo that timeless devotion, albeit in a modern and unexpected way.

A video of his visit has since gone viral, garnering thousands of views and a flood of comments praising his sincerity. Social media users were quick to notice his clear style and cultural immersion, with reactions ranging from “He talks just like an Indian” to “A kid full of sincerity.”
Universal pull beyond belief
A visit to Anjaneya is symbolic of a broader trend: Ayodhya’s growing international appeal as a religious and cultural destination. Since the grand dedication ceremony held on January 22, 2024, an event attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ram Mandir has emerged as one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India.
Built on the site believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram, the temple stands at the heart of a centuries-old religious and political movement, culminating in the landmark 2019 Supreme Court ruling that paved the way for its construction.
In the months following the dedication, Ayodhya witnessed an unprecedented increase in the number of visitors. It is estimated that by the end of 2025, hundreds of millions of devotees will have visited the temple, with tens of millions arriving in the first half of the year alone. The city’s infrastructure, from airports to hotels, was quickly upgraded to accommodate this influx.
But what is particularly noteworthy is the steady rise in the number of foreign tourists. Visitors from countries including the United States, Germany and Southeast Asia are increasingly adding Ayodhya to their travel itineraries, attracted not only by religious faith but also by the cultural curiosity and global visibility the temple has achieved.
