When you hear the term ‘three wheeler’, your mind automatically goes to rickshaw. But few know about three-wheelers, with one model even existing in Pune, the Polaris Slingshot R. Vlogger Sarthak Sachdeva posted a video on Instagram showing the unique car he rode in. The car was owned by Tanishq Bahiti, who deals with Barquillo Chocolates, a Dubai-based confectionery brand. A video of the unique car caught attention on Instagram.
The video starts with Sarthak approaching the car owner and asking him for a short ride. After some hesitation, he agreed.
Three-wheeled car
The car became an instant sensation as it traveled. The car had no doors or windows. Its low ground clearance means it almost touches the road. Riders could feel the wind in their hair as they rode through Pune. According to Sarthak, this was the only car of its kind in India. The car had a Dubai license plate. The front of the car opened in a unique way to reveal the engine inside. Sarthak ended the clip by saying that he would also like to sell chocolate.
The clip attracted a lot of comments, and many described it as “the coolest three-wheeled car ever.”
Responding to Sarthak’s comment about selling sweets, a user said: “Use chocolate bechna nahi and chocolate banana bulti hai.”
Bike enthusiast Priyanka Kochhar shared a video of the 2023 Polaris Slingshot R and thanked Bhiti for the opportunity to check out the car. The car in the post was of different colors, but it was the same model.
Polaris Slingshot R features
The car features a sporty hood with air vents and Brembo brakes. Gloss black wheels and an integrated navigation system are part of every vehicle. AutoDrive mode features paddle shifters to help riders stay in sync with the moment. There is a manual transmission option as well. The car features a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder ProStar engine with a maximum power of 204 horsepower, according to its official website.
The car also has a 7-inch screen supported by the RIDE COMMAND system. Apple CarPlay and Turn-By-Turn Navigation are enabled in vehicles. The car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The Polaris Slingshot R has standard anti-lock braking system (ABS).
Pricing for the Polaris Slingshot R starts at $34,999 (roughly Rs. 31.6 lakh), plus additional destination and setup charges.
