Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently making an official visit to Japan to attend the fifteenth annual summit of India and Japan, which represents his first visit to the country during his third term. Upon his arrival in Tokyo on Friday, Prime Minister Moody was warmly welcomed and a festive honor guard was welcomed.

Randir Jaiswal, the spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA), shared the lighting tower on the social media platform X, wrote, “Tokyo Skytree lit the colors of the Indian flag in honor of the PM @Narendramodi for Japan 15th India-Japan. It is the tallest tower in Japan.”

Tokyo Sky Tree, which is located at a height of 634 meters (2080 feet), is not only the tallest structure in Japan, but also was distinguished by being the tallest broadcast tower in the world and the second greatest human -making structure in the world, after Dabai Khalifa. It was completed in 2012, and it is a center for television and radio broadcasting, and it has become a major symbol of the Tokyo horizon.

During the summit, Prime Minister Modi held bilateral talks with his Japanese counterpart, Prime Minister Shigro Eshiba. The leaders signed multiple agreements aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation across the main sectors. A joint statement issued by both countries has set a 10 -year road map to direct future cooperation. In addition, a long -term vision document on bilateral relationships has been revealed.

With the highlight of the wider geopolitical importance of partnership, PM Modi indicated that as the largest democratic and major economies in Asia, India and Japan play a vital role in promoting peace and regional and global security. Both countries are also part of Quad, a security dialogue that also includes the United States and Australia.

Japanese Prime Minister Shigro Eshiba Modi welcomed the rich historical and cultural relations between the two countries. “Our relationship dates back to the sixth century, when Buddhism was introduced in Japan. We have a long, cultural and spiritual relationship, we can influence each other,” he said.
