The UK gym sparked controversy by banning women over 24 years of work during peak hours. A woman has shared her story on Mumsnet, saying that the gym now allows only females between the ages of 12 and 24 from 4 pm and 7 pm, from Monday to Friday. Before this change, the gym was only a female during those hours, but it had no longer life. The woman said that she joined the gym because she was only women from 9 am to 7 pm on the week and now this new rule is not suitable for her routine.

The woman explained: “I joined the gym a few months ago, and one of the main points for me was that it is only a female from 9 to 7 days a week. I received this email from her and I will cancel it because it no longer suits the times I can go to, but this is ridiculous.”

In the email, the gym has informed its members, “We write to inform you of the next change in the women’s gym sessions. From Monday, June 30, 2025, the gym will be allocated exclusively to females between the ages As usual. “

Most people agreed to her feelings, 93 percent, “You are not unreasonable.”

In response to this post, one of the users wrote, “This is completely ridiculous! Why are women in a specific age!? I feel angry.”

Another participated, “So a woman can not go over 24 years old to the gym immediately after work anymore? You will definitely lose their work.”

“I would like the idea of women only time. I’m sure it is common, but honestly, the age is madness. I am sure that many women will also cancel.”

One of the individual stated, “This has no meaning at all. Especially because this is an initial opening.”

Another male, “This is wild once a week, is fine. One hour a day (out of peak times), fine. Three hours every day of the week my mind. I will also cancel.”

I had a different opinion from the rest. They believed that the base is logical because many teenage girls stop working because of the feeling of uncomfortable or judgment. Giving them their time to exercise can help them feel safe and confident. Just just as there are only hours of women for some reason, this time for life also has a good purpose.
