Bengaluru News Video: A student from Kerala had to pay a hefty fine for driving his modified car for fun in Bengaluru. The car was modified so that fire came out of its exhaust, which is considered illegal on public roads. The Yelahanka Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Bengaluru has collected a fine of Rs 1.11 lakh from the student.

Bengaluru Traffic Police has clearly stated that public roads are not meant for stunting and modifying a vehicle’s exhaust in a way that produces sparks or fire is illegal. He also warned that those involved in such activities would face consequences.

The video also showed the fine receipt which recorded the payment of Rs 1,11,500 and at the end a police officer was seen standing next to the modified car.

After the video went viral, social media users praised the Bengaluru Traffic Police for taking action against the student. One user commented: “Glad that you took a firm stance and imposed the maximum penalty. Now is the time to take strict action against violating the rules.”
