Pygmy Marmoset: Have you ever thought that a marmoset (dwarf marmoset) could be so small that it can fit in the palm of your hand? The pygmy marmoset is one of these little creatures, and is the smallest monkey in the world. Its weight is just over 100 grams, and its length is only between 11.7 and 15.2 cm. It is found in the forests of the South American countries Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. They are also called the “finger monkey” because they look small like fingers.
