Airline ticket prices were set to rise sharply
Amid this turmoil, the government intervened to address rising air ticket prices on the affected routes. Officials announced that ticket prices will remain limited between Rs 7,500 and Rs 18,000, depending on the flight distance. The decision was taken to prevent overcharging during a period when thousands of passengers were struggling to secure seats.
