The incident took place on February 7 at Chandan One Marriage Garden in Jagatpura area during Naveen Karol’s wedding celebrations.
Theft while filming
According to the police complaint, the newlyweds were standing on the stage taking photos around 10:15 p.m. when the robbery occurred. As several guests gathered nearby, a smartly dressed man carrying a jacket easily mingled among them and did not attract attention.
Video recordings later showed the suspect calmly approaching the stage, lifting the bride’s bag within seconds and hiding it inside his jacket before quietly disappearing into the crowd.
