A woman accuses a “disabled” man of touching her thigh; The Internet Says: “Disability Doesn’t Provide a Code for Misbehavior.”
As incidents of harassment and concerns about women’s safety in public spaces continue to make headlines across the country, a woman decided to take matters into her own hands after claiming a man touched her inappropriately. A video clip of the confrontation has since circulated, showing her grabbing the man by the throat and asking him to apologize.
The clip, which was posted on X, begins when the visibly disturbed woman is seen grabbing the man by the throat and demanding an explanation. “What did you do?” I asked. When those around them asked what happened, she claimed that the man had harassed her and accused him of intentionally touching her thigh.
“I don’t give an as–t.”
She refused to let the matter go, and repeatedly demanded an apology there. As the confrontation developed, a number of bystanders tried to calm the situation, with one of them telling the woman that the man was physically disabled. They can be heard telling her several times: “He’s disabled.” They also urged the man to apologize to the woman to defuse the situation.
However, the woman refused to back down. “I don’t give a like-t!” She said as she continued to demand an apology. Meanwhile, the man denied any wrongdoing and was seen telling her he was walking next to her. After people tried to defuse the situation, the woman eventually walked away, warning him to be more careful from now on. The exact location and circumstances leading up to the accident can be independently verified.

The Internet has mixed reactions to the incident
The video has since sparked mixed reactions online. While many users acknowledged that a woman has the right to call out inappropriate behavior, others felt that she needed to carefully assess the situation before publicly accusing a man.
“Being disabled is not a license to touch someone inappropriately,” one user wrote.
Another said: “Paralyzed or not. She’s right. Girls don’t do these things unless they have to.”
“Disability doesn’t give you a code for misconduct. She should file a proper complaint and not take the law into her own hands,” one person commented.
Another person said: “If the accusation is true, she deserves justice. If it is false, then she deserves an apology. We must wait for the facts before judging anyone.”
Meanwhile, another person quipped: “This situation proves that we should never jump to conclusions or use violence without understanding the whole story. The man is disabled and it was probably an unintentional touch. It’s better to communicate peacefully first.”
