Mashobra is a city located in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. It takes 7:30 to 8:00 hours to reach here from Delhi by road. However, if you go by train this time is reduced to 6-7 hours. It is connected to the state capital Shimla via the Hindustan-Tibet Road, built by Lord Dalhousie in 1850.

Best season to visit Mashobra: At least 2-3 days are required to visit Mashobra. April and June are the best time to visit here. In summer, the weather in Mashobra is pleasant, the sky is clear, and the days are long. In this season, the Mashobra hills are full of beautiful flowers.

Trip Cost- You can take a bus from Delhi to reach Mashobra. The one side fare is 1100-1200 rupees. While if you go by train, the fare can go up to 600-2000 rupees depending on the coach. The train leaves you in Kalka, where you will have to take a taxi to reach Mashobra. After reaching here, you can book homestay, hotel or resort according to your budget. You can take a 3-day trip to Mashobra for 5000-6000 rupees.
