A Bengaluru woman has accused a delivery agent of forcibly entering her apartment and exposing himself to her after she repeatedly refused to let him use her bathroom. The disturbing incident, which the woman detailed in a social media post and video, sparked widespread outrage online.
According to the woman, the delivery person arrived at her home to deliver a package before asking permission to use her toilet. She said she politely refused several times, explaining that she does not allow strangers to enter her home. Alternatively, she suggested that he approach her male neighbors if there was an emergency.
Recalling the incident, she wrote, “I politely declined several times and told him clearly that I do not allow strangers into my apartment. I even suggested that he ask the male neighbors next door as it was an emergency. Despite my repeated refusal, he took off his shoes and forcefully entered my house without my permission.”

The woman claimed that despite her objections, the delivery boy ignored her repeated refusals, entered the apartment and proceeded to use the bathroom. She further claimed that when he came out, he exposed himself to her, leaving her shocked and frightened.
“When he got out of the bathroom, he exposed his genitals to me. I felt shocked, violated, humiliated and completely unsafe in my home. One woman said, ‘No!’ That should have been the end of the conversation. No one has the right to ignore her boundaries or break into her home.”
The woman described the terrifying moments of the incident, and said that she feared for her safety the entire time. She revealed that she deliberately kept her phone’s camera on, left the main door open and stayed close to the entrance so that she could quickly run outside and call for help if the situation escalated.
She added: “I felt terrified. Fearing for my safety, I kept my phone’s camera on, left the main door open, and stood near the entrance because I was afraid that if anything happened, I would run outside to get help. Every day we hear about rape crimes against women.”
The woman said that the incident left her psychologically traumatized and she felt unsafe even inside her home.
The matter gained wider attention after the video was shared on social media by X user Sree Harsha. Soon after the allegations surfaced online, Marathahalli police contacted the woman and asked her to file a formal complaint.
Based on her statement, the police registered an FIR under Sections 75, 79 and 329(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Bengaluru Police arrested the accused, identified as Vijay Mallikarjun Kamath. Officials confirmed that legal proceedings have begun and further investigations are underway in this matter.
The incident sparked widespread controversy on social media, with many users expressing outrage at the alleged misconduct and raising concerns about the woman’s safety.

One user wrote: “Shocked to see this! How dare this delivery man! Without a 0.00001% doubt that this man was overpowered inside a house where the woman was alone, this is indecent, illegal and dangerous for the woman!! Cut off his genitals!! Let’s have some examples for the future to show the perpetrators! 😱🥸”
Another commented: “This type of behavior is normalized by the circles of friends around them and the content they consume, constantly watching porn that depicts unrealistic scenarios between delivery workers and customers, and they end up assuming that girls are always ready, just give the hint.”
A third user said: “Shame on @Flipkart for boycotting Flipkart.”
Another wrote: “The reason you have a grill gate.. is to keep the dahatis away.. just give them water.. nothing more.”

Another commented: “My blood is boiling, I’m also trying to find out what language he speaks. It would explain a lot of things.”
Another user wrote: “Men are really not fit to go out to work; they can’t control themselves and have to live forever under the guardianship of their mothers and sisters.”
