These days, a video of Varanasi Cantt railway station is going viral on social media, exposing the expense on the pockets of passengers. Such a game happened with a student who came from Bihar to appear for the exam and everyone was shocked to hear about it. A Chole-Bhatura dish that was available for Rs 20 suddenly became Rs 120. But the twist in the story came when the student complained directly to the police instead of accepting defeat, and what happened next has now gone viral on the internet.

Promise Rs 20 and get Rs 120 back

In the viral video, student Pintu tells Kumar that he was promised chole with 6 bhatures for Rs 20. But after finishing the food, the shop owner asked him for 120 rupees. “They gave 6 pieces after asking for 20 rupees and taking 120 rupees,” the student said. Not only this, he also claimed that many other students like him have also become victims of such excessive fees.

The police took immediate action

As the matter escalated, the student went directly to the police officers present at the station. In the video, police officers are seen questioning the shop owner and asking why he took Rs 120 after they claimed the goods were worth Rs 20. When pressed, the store owner apologizes and promises not to do so in the future. Then, upon police request, the additional funds will be returned to the student immediately.
