A woman has shared her advice on dealing with career after announcing she was quitting her job. In a video on Instagram, she talked about simple habits that she believes can help employees avoid burnout and deal with workplace stress more easily.

The woman, Chichi Sharma, posted the video titled, “How to survive the company without losing your mind.” She said that as her last day of work approached, she wanted to pass on some of the lessons she learned during her time in the corporate world.

She shares workplace tips

“Next Friday is my last working day. So, I thought before leaving, it is my duty to tell you all how to survive in the company without losing your minds,” Sharma said in the video.

One of her biggest suggestions was to take full advantage of paid leave instead of wasting it. She said employees shouldn’t feel guilty about taking time off, especially if unused days aren’t rolled over or reimbursed.

“If your company gives you 24 sheets of paper, take it,” she said. She also encouraged employees to use floating papers instead of leaving them unused.

Another tip was to understand common corporate terms and phrases. According to Sharma, using workplace language can help employees communicate more confidently during meetings and discussions. She suggested that instead of saying they don’t have an update on the task, people could say “WIP (work in progress)” or simply respond with “I’ll check and get back to you.”

Sharma also talked about how employees are often judged by how busy they are. “You never look free. Everyone is always looking at you,” she said.

She ended by talking about criticism at work, saying that employees should not take every negative comment personally. “People will always scold you. But you have to have thick skin,” she added.

Social media is reacting to her advice

The video received many reactions from users, with many saying they could relate to her experience.

“samaj hi nahi aa raha” “Let me give you my survival hacks” “So proud of you,” one user wrote. Another commented: “So true and relatable.”

“I completely agree with Mota Shamda,” another person wrote.

Some users pointed out that taking leave is not always easy in all workplaces. “But vacations are subject to manager approval,” one person commented.

“I wish I had seen this reel sooner,” another user said. Another person added: “Leave len ki bad bhi.. They expect to be available.”
