What is Betod Rita?
Pitod Raita is a traditional dish of Rajasthan. In this, small pieces made of chickpea flour are mixed with curd. These pieces are called pitud. First, a thick mixture is prepared by cooking chickpea flour with spices, then it is cooled and chopped. Next, the raita is prepared by adding it to the spicy curd. This dish is light and keeps the stomach full for a long time.

Necessary materials
– 1 cup flour
-2 cups of water
– Half a teaspoon of turmeric
– Half a teaspoon of red hot pepper powder
-Salt to taste
– 2 cups fresh cheese
– Half a teaspoon of ground cumin
– Black salt
– Green coriander
– A little red hot pepper powder

How to make
First of all, take the gram flour in a bowl. Add water to it and mix well so that there are no lumps. Now add turmeric, salt and red pepper to it. Cook this solution over low heat and keep stirring so that it does not stick to the bottom. When the mixture becomes thick and homogeneous, turn off the gas.

Now spread this mixture lightly in a plate and leave it to cool. When cool, cut it into small square pieces. This is the pitot.

Now put the curd in a bowl and beat it well until smooth. Add black salt, roasted cumin powder and some water to it. Now add the prepared pitot and mix gently. Sprinkle green coriander and bright red pepper on top. If you want, you can cool it down by keeping it in the refrigerator for some time.
