The Eiffel Tower is 324 meters high, but modern skyscrapers around the world far exceed this height.

News18
The Eiffel Tower, built in 1889, is 324 meters high and was the tallest man-made building in the world before many skyscrapers were built that surpassed its height due to improved architecture and engineering techniques.
Despite this tremendous development, there is still no structure in India that exceeds the height of the Eiffel Tower. The tallest buildings in India are found in Mumbai. Its heights do not exceed 320 metres.
All over the world, many structures have appeared that exceed this famous building in height.
1. Burj Khalifa, Dubai It is 828 meters above the ground and is currently the tallest building in the world.
2. Merdeka 118, Kuala Lumpur is one of the tallest buildings to come up recently, standing at 679 metres.
3. The Shanghai Tower in China is 632 meters high.
4. Mecca Royal Clock Tower, Saudi Arabia It reaches a height of about 601 meters and is the tallest building surrounding the Grand Mosque.
5. Ping Financial Centre, Shenzhen It rises to an altitude of about 599 meters and serves as a financial centre.
6. Lotte World Tower in Seoul is 555 meters high and has several floors used for observation and mixed purposes.
7. World Trade Center, New York It is 541 meters high and is the tallest building in America.
8. Guangzhou Financial Center CTF, China It is about 530 meters high and is located among many other high-rise buildings.
9. Tianjin Financial Center CTF, China It is about 530 meters high and has several uses.
10. CITIC Tower, Beijing With an approximate height of 528 metres, it is one of the tallest buildings in China.
However, when considering the tallest Indian buildings, the Royal Palace located in Mumbai is estimated to be 320 metres, while the Lokhandwala Minerva is 301 metres.
Therefore, until 2026, there will be no building in India taller than the Eiffel Tower.
Skyscrapers in India were mainly focused on luxury residential buildings and not high-rise buildings. Most of them are clustered in Mumbai due to limited land and need for quality properties.
However, as other cities continue to develop heights above 500 metres, India is yet to achieve this feat. However, in the near future, this may fill the gap, but currently, the Eiffel Tower stands taller than all other buildings.
